Multi-Skills Festival

On Wednesday 23rd November, Coombe Dean Year 9 Sports Leaders and Silver Ambassadors organised and delivered a great morning of Multi-Skills activities to eight primary schools; Wembury, Dunstone, Pomphlett, Elburton, Oreston, St Edwards, Whitleigh and Riverside.

There was an excited and noisy atmosphere as the 96 pupils worked their way around eight challenges; Fireman’s Ladder, Zigzag Run, Ball Balance, Around the World, Target Hoops, Hurdles, Speed Bounce and the Tight Rope Challenge – all aimed at developing running, jumping and throwing skills.

Well done to all the children who took part with such enthusiasm, and a big thank you to; Robyn, Jess, Emily, Mia, Lauren, Harrison, Abby, Abbie, Hannah, Maddy, Adam, Ethan, Amelie, Kaiya, Ella, Jim, Sam, Joe, Lewis, Josh, Lloyd, Riley, Finley, Ryan, Tyler, Tyler, Keiron and Harvey our Sports Leaders for working so hard to make the event a success and being such great ambassadors for Coombe Dean School.

Special mention to Beth and Amy who ran the morning with great skill and precision timing to ensure the event ran so smoothly. They all received great praise from the staff and parents who supported the event.
