General Subject Statement:
As new technology brings people closer together across the globe, studying a language like French, German or Spanish becomes ever more important in preparing yourselves for living and working in the 21st Century. Learning a new language is fun, a valuable life skill, and also teaches you about other cultures. Knowing another language can boost your career prospects and your quality of life, especially when studied at GCSE and A level. It will also provide you with the necessary skills to learn whatever other language you might need in the course of your professional and personal life.
